The Cheesecake Factory Expands Menu with Vegan-Friendly Innovations
The Cheesecake Factory has made a few menu changes and given us three new vegan-friendly dishes to enjoy. The popular restaurant chain known for its big menu added nearly two dozen new items to its everyday selections recently. To make room for these new options, Cheesecake Factory removed over a dozen items from its older menu. Fortunately for the plant-based community, none of the foods covered in The FARM Buzz’s earlier article, Eating Vegan at The Cheesecake Factory were among those cut.
Menu Evolution at Cheesecake Factory
This move is in line with Cheesecake Factory’s plan to always offer a wide array of foods on their menus. One spokesperson explained, “Historically, The Cheesecake Factory has rolled out new menu items twice a year. To make room for more than 20+ new menu items, we removed some selections from the existing 250+ items on the menu.”
3 New Plant-Based Friendly Options
We are excited to see a few vegan-friendly selections on the new menu. Two of the new menu items are vegan as-is. One can be modified vegan. Here are the three new items plant-based diners can order at The Cheesecake Factory.
The Charred Sugar Snap Peas are vegan as-is. This tasty appetizer contains seared peas with fresh herbs and a chile-lime vinaigrette.
The Asian Cucumber Salad is another delicious appetizer that is already vegan. It contains crispy, pickled cucumbers topped with sesame, soy, garlic, and mild chilies.
The Thai Stir-fried Noodles are not vegan on their own, but can easily be modified vegan. Simply request this order with no butter and no egg. This will leave a flavorful, filling dish with Asian rice noodles, snow peas, shiitake mushrooms, bean sprouts, green onion, cilantro, and chopped peanuts.
