EPCOT is known for its seasonal festivals celebrating diversity from different countries. The Festival of the Arts celebrates art and artists from around the world. The Flower and Garden features gorgeous flowers from around the globe. The Food and Wine Festival has food and wine specific to each country.
The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays began on November 24 and runs through December 30. It highlights favorite holiday food and traditions from each country. You only have a few more days before this festival ends to make room for EPCOT’s next festival. Luckily, we have sampled all the vegan options Disney offers during the International Festival of the Holidays to help you decide which dishes you want to try.
Vegan Eats at EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays
Nochebuena Cocina

Nochebuena Cocina in World Discovery has two amazing treats and we couldn’t wait to try them both.
The Tamale contains plant-based chorizo, plant-based cotija cheese, and a spicy red chile sauce. The sauce was strong but excellent despite the light heat. We gave this one 5 out of 5 Bumblebees.
Nochebuena Cocina also had a wonderful Ponche Navideno that we cannot wait to try again. This Christmas Punch is served warm with apples, pears, guava, oranges, dried hibiscus, brown sugar, tamarind, cinnamon sticks, and cloves. It was sweet and fruity and tasted like apple pie. This one was a definite favorite. This one was 5 out of 5 Bumblebees. Everyone should try it.
L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen

L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen’s location is between France and Morocco. They serve fantastic Potato Latke. The sauce was a little heavy on the dill, but it tasted great, nonetheless. It was so excellent that we cleared the whole plate. We give the latkes 5 out of 5 Bumblebees.
L’Chaim also served the Black and White Cookie from the Cookie Stroll. It tasted better than last year’s Black and White Cookie but was still super sweet. The Black and White Cookie is the only vegan cookie in the festival. We ranked it 3 out of 5 Bumblebees.
Tangierine Café’: Flavors of the Medina

In Morocco, you will find Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina. Tangierine Café served fluffy and delicious stone-baked Moroccan Bread and three different sauces, Hummus, Chermoula, and Zhoug dips. The green dip has a spicy kick to it. The red cilantro is so good even cilantro haters will like it. The hummus was our favorite selection by far. The bread is perfect for dipping, but the dish only comes with one piece. We felt it should have one more piece of bread to balance all the sauces. We gave this one 4 out of 5 Bumblebees.
Refreshment Outpost

The Refreshment Outpost in Africa served a flavorful and spicy Peanut Stew made with potatoes, mustard greens, and roasted peanuts. This stew is perfect for a chilly day. If you love spicy food, this dish is made just for you. One of our tasters claimed that the Peanut Stew was the best dish of the whole festival. We gave it 5 out of 5 Bumblebees.
The DOLE Whip Raspberry was too sweet and had an artificial taste. We recommend sticking to the traditional Dole Whip. This one got 2 out of 5 Bumblebees.
Shanghai Holiday Kitchen

Shanghai Holiday Kitchen in China offered a Vegetable Spring Roll. Remove the citrus sauce to make this dish vegan. It was crunchy, tasty, and not too greasy. It tasted like a typical egg roll, but it was terrific. We enjoyed it. Vegetable Spring Rolls earned 4 out of 5 stars.
Char & Chop

Char & Chop is near Disney Traders. You can get a Grilled Impossible Spicy Sausage here. Remove the Ricotta to make this dish vegan. It contains herbed polenta and Puttanesca sauce. We loved this dish and gave it 5 out of 5 Bumblebees.
We tried and enjoyed most of the vegan options at the International Festival of the Holidays. Our taste tests can help you make good selections. We particularly liked the Peanut Stew, the Grilled Impossible Spicy Sausage, and the Ponche Navideno. Try them before the festival ends to see if you feel the same.
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Attractions
Even though the food is one of many reasons we enjoy visiting Epcot, there are plenty of fun and entertaining attractions at the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays for guests to enjoy.
Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt
Olaf is hiding in many places around the World Showcase. Purchase a map at any merchandise location and let the hunt begin. Find every hidden Olaf, then turn in your completed map for a gift.
Holiday Cookie Stroll at EPCOT

Each time you purchase a holiday cookie, have your passport stamped. There are five in total. Unfortunately, only one of these is a vegan option. The good news is that you do not have to purchase every cookie flavor. Buying that one five times is okay if you only want one kind of cookie. Turn in your completed passport for a fun gift.
Festival of the Holidays Exclusive Merchandise
Who does not enjoy shopping from time to time? EPCOT has numerous stores throughout the park. Browse as many as you like in search of the perfect gift for everyone on your list.
Holiday Storytellers and Musicians
